After that, drive for 12 kilometers to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (new). In the afternoon, you will be returning back to Gangtok and the rest of the day will be free to enjoy yourself. Stay at Gangtok for the night.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen (121 kilometers/5 hours)

In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue your drive for 121 kilometers and 5 hours to reach Lachen from Gangtok. En route, visit Singhik View point (depends on weather conditions) and Naga Water Falls. Check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.

Lachen-Lachen is a town in the Mangan District of Sikkim, India. It is located at an elevation of 2,550 metres. The name Lachen means "big pass". The town is being promoted as a tourist destination by the Sikkimese government. The town forms the base of the Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake. An annual yak race, the Thangu, is held here in summer.

Day 4: Gurudongmar Lake visit & Lachen to Lachung (50 kilometers/2 hours)

Early Morning visit Gurudongmar Lake, Thangu, Chopta Valley and later, after lunch, drive for 50 kilometers and 2 hours to reach Lachung from Lachen. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Night halt at Lachung.

Day 5: Lachung-Yumthang Excursion (24 kilometers/1 hour/11,600 feet) & Lachung to Gangtok (115 kilometers/5 hours)

In the morning, drive to Yumthang Valley (known as the Valley of Flowers). In the afternoon after lunch, continue your journey from Lachung to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel room. Dinner and night halt at Gangtok.
